Who we are
This website is doubleglazingcostcalculator.co.uk, a UK cost-information site. We publish benchmark double glazing prices, and if you request a callback we arrange real quotes for your home. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at hello@doubleglazingcostcalculator.co.uk.
What we collect
Very little. The site has no user accounts, no contact forms and no marketing cookies. The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser: the figures you enter (property type, window count, style, material) are never sent to our servers, stored or shared.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and capacity purposes, as virtually every website does. These are retained briefly and are not used to identify or profile you.
Cookies
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics scripts. If this changes in future, this policy will be updated first and a consent mechanism added where the law requires one.
Email and callback requests
If you email us with a correction or question, we will hold your message and address for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then delete them. We do not add you to any list.
If you request a callback for quotes, we will hold the details you give us (name, phone number, rough location and the windows you are interested in) and share them with the installers we ask to quote for your job. That sharing happens only because you asked us to arrange quotes, and only for that purpose. You can withdraw the request at any time by emailing us, and we will ask the installers we passed your details to, to delete them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Given how little we collect, the most we are ever likely to hold is an email you sent us.
